During your internship with the adidas Consumer Analytics team, you will help drive adidas in becoming a data-informed organization. Every decision that is made is stronger when it is based on evidence. You will help discover and communicate that evidence to top business stakeholders throughout the company.
You will gain experience in all facets of creating end-to-end digital insights. From fine-tuning the back-end tools as a platform technician, to discovering and developing evidence to back sound decision-making, through presenting our team findings as a consultant to our senior business stakeholders, we promise one thing: you will not be bored!
Collecting demand from internal business stakeholders (business functions and markets)
Analyzing the demand and providing structured input for several Social Media platforms, adidas.com & adidas mobile apps
Analyzing and formulating insights in relevant form to help business stakeholders in decision making on:
activities on social networks like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest
Campaigns on adidas.com
Mobile apps such as miZXFlux, adidas Go, or adidas Snapshot
Helping the team stay up to speed with relevant information sources, technological developments and business trends
Proactively identifying business-relevant use cases for digital analytics and proposing analysis to the business stakeholders
Identifying and piloting new tools and solutions in an effort to stay on the cutting edge of the digital analytics landscape
Creating and maintaining search routines / queries for a consistent analysis across all tracked social media topics, campaigns on adidas.com and mobile apps
Student of Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or similar
Enrolled as fulltime student for the complete duration of the internship. Or in the so called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (EU citizens only! Only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations.)
Fluent English language skills
You have advanced analytical skills. You are meticulous and detailed in your analysis, as well as the ability to step back and understand the bigger picture.
You are OK with seeing and working with code (basics in HTML and java-script).
You are an Office master. No, not in that way, the Microsoft Office way. You can find your way around PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Publisher.
Team player who enjoys working in an international environment
You have a passion for mobile gadgets and dominant operating systems (i.e. iOS and android). Your smartphone and social networks are part of your life.
You know your way around GIFs, Hashtags, Bounces, Emoji and Downloads. You can communicate in different ways.
You’re comfortable being at the intersection of IT and Marketing. A plus is in understanding psychology, sociology, and communications. You understand and embrace the complexity of today’s digital business.
