USA Triathlon Intern / Sports Management

The USA Triathlon intern will have the opportunity to work across all business units learning and applying skills in various areas including, but not limited to, event planning and sanctioning, customer service, project development, sport development, marketing and communications, and high performance. Learn the daily functions of each of the eight business units (Sport Development, National Events, National Office, Event Services, Membership, High Performance, Marketing and Communications, IT).
Essential Job Functions:
Functions include, but are not limited to:
Update web and magazine content for different business units as needed.
Customer service for the National Office.
Support Coaching Education and Race Director Education programs in preparation for clinics and conferences.
Support National Events in the planning and preparation of all owned National Championships.
Assist in the strategic development of women's triathlon in the NCAA.
Educational Requirements: Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at the junior or senior level status, enrolled in a Master degree program, or within 6 months to a year after graduation from a Bachelor or Masters program.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
Passion for sport and the Ideals of the Olympic Movement
Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports).
Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Excellent communication and human relations skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
*Transportation will be needed, work location is not on the OTC campus

Some college or better in Sport Management or related field.
