Strength & Conditioning Intern - Colorado Springs / Sports Management

Primary responsibility is to support the Strength & Conditioning staff. Provide supervision of the Olympic Training Center Strength & Conditioning Facility Will serve as an assistant coach to USOC Strength & Conditioning Coaches.
Functions include but are not limited to the following:
Teach and demonstrate proper technique of skills involved in a strength & conditioning program (including dynamic warm-ups, Olympic lifts, plyometrics, agility exercises, etc...)
Provide supervision of the weight room facility, maintain equipment, and perform additional duties assigned by staff.
Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at the junior or senior level status in Exercise Science or preferably enrolled or recently completed a Master degree program in Exercise Science or related field.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
Passion for sport and the Ideals of the Olympic Movement
Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports).
Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Excellent communication and human relations skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
Willingness to participate in the full duration of the Intern Program
Preferred recognized national certification in Strength & Conditioning (NSCA, CSCCA, USAW)
A minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning experience
Aspire to pursue a career as a strength & conditioning professional
