Fall 2017 - Ticket Operations Internship / Pro Sports
The Nashville Predators offer full-time college students the opportunity to gain hands on experience and earn college credit at the same time! Predatorsí internships make it possible for students to learn how a professional sports team operates on a daily basis. You will learn valuable skills in database management, lead generation, survey research, analytics, and ticketing as well as gain contacts and experiences to jump start a career in the wide world of sports!
-Process ticket orders on a daily basis.
-Assist box office on game nights.
-General administrative work including maintaining/organizing files, data entry, copying, filing, faxing, and mailing.
-Provide customer service to patrons on game nights and normal box office hours.
-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
-Generate reports as needed by Ticket Operations staff.
-Act as liaison between ticket operations and Fan Relations/Sales staff.
-Other team relevant jobs assigned by supervisor.
-Flexibility, attention to detail, and an ability to work extended days, hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays are requirements
-All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities
-The internship must be a part of the studentís curriculum
-The internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the studentís degree
-Internships do not provide compensation
-Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the Predators upon completion
-Ticket software experience (ideally Ticketmaster, Archtics, or similar systems).
-Experience with box office finance responsibilities, supervision, ticket window sales, and ticket order processing skills.
-Excellent organizational and planning skills.
