Internship - Procurement / Sports Equipment

Those skills span many disciplines across Nike’s Corporate Functions, including Facilities, Child Development, Administrative Support and Aviation. While roles range from pilots to security specialists to teachers, one thing remains constant: the teams deliver exceptional experiences and services at Nike locations around the world. Prepare and distribute timely and insightful analysis (financial and commercial) to support the Procurement Leadership in decision making;
You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of specific functional strategies for the Procurement area, including market research, spend analytics and performance management. Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct market research and investigate best practices to support sourcing projects;
Provide input and direction into business unit planning and performance metrics;
Advise on financial implications of business decisions;
Identify and/or develop relevant management reporting and analytical tools;
Vendor management and contracting process.
Education: 3rd/4th year student within Business Administration, Finance, Management or other related faculty;
Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work in complex environment with multiple stakeholders;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Academic, volunteering or previous internship experiences related to Finances or Supply Chain are a plus (please include in your CV);
In order to be eligible for an internship, you must:
Have an active student status for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution) ;
Have an EU passport or an EU work permit.
Start date: August 1st, 2017
Duration: 12 months
This internship is open to students outside of the Netherlands.
