Summer 2017 Membership Services Intern / Pro Sports
POSITION OVERVIEWResponsible for working at all Hornets home games, staffing the Hornets Arena Will Call, Guaranteed Giveaways table, Guest Service Windows, and/or Season Ticket Holder booth on the concourse as needs dictate
This is a non-paid internship and is requiring the individual to receive academic credit. The candidate should be, but not limited to, a Junior, Senior or graduate level student.
This internship requires a commitment to assist staff during Hornets games and be able to be in the office 20-40 hours a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and review surveys of season ticket holders.
Work with Game Operations and all other game staffs with the execution of improvements to the game day experience for all Premium Seat Holders.
Proactively communicate in person and via other communication methods with premium seat holders to gauge satisfaction levels, and to inform them of upcoming season ticket holder exclusive events.
Help to plan, organize and execute season ticket holder events including, but not limited to first year orientation and open practices.
Interact with employees and customers to assist in the resolution of problems and concerns voiced by season ticket holders.
Organize and distribute season ticket holder gifts, birthday cards, etc.
Assist with research and tracking efforts to determine Season Ticket Holders concerns and interest.
Contribute to the day to the day to operations of the membership service department in preparation of daily objectives, game day duties, and the renewal campaign.
Manage the client services hotline to assist Swarm Members and Individual Game Buyers who are experiencing issues with their online account manager by using Archtics and CRM database system
Take inbound and make outbound calls to customers who need assistance
Input information collected from Swarm Members from face-to-face interactions and phone calls into the CRM database to manage and record touch point opportunities
Assist in projects related to overcoming renewal objections during role play training sessions
Setup and create Swarm365 summer member events
Research local businesses in an attempt to host Member Events
Secure location, date, and cost for each event
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Membership Services and Vice President of Sales and Services.
